Tour Amenities
Itinerary
Your journey starts with a private trek through the lush montane rainforest, under ancient cedar trees teeming with colobus monkeys. Upon arrival at Machame Camp, your luxury tent is prepared with heated flooring and stargazing panels. Dinner is designed to support acclimatization, crafted by our mountain nutritionist.
As you ascend, the landscape changes to Kilimanjaro’s alpine desert and giant heather zones. Explore hidden fumaroles and mineral springs on the Shira Plateau detour. Camp amenities include cliffside lounge pods, and enjoy a sunset yoga session with your guide to relax and adapt to the altitude.
We follow a slow-rotation ascent to Shira Needle (4,200m) to optimize acclimatization, then through Ferraria glacial valleys to Barranco Camp. Evening activities include a curated altitude-adapted dinner experience.
Scale the iconic Barranco Wall with assistance from climbing ladders and optional safety harnesses. Enjoy lunch on a suspended dining platform overlooking the Karanga Valley. Evening includes a high-altitude mixology session using indigenous botanicals.
This day is structured with micro-ascent phases and recovery breaks incorporating hypoxia training sessions. Prepare for summit day with a dinner in a pressurized dome and virtual summit previews. Thermal gloves and other summit-prep gear are provided.
The summit push begins at midnight, guided by programmable LED markers. Biometric monitoring ensures pacing for Uhuru Peak at dawn. Celebrate with a champagne breakfast on the summit, then descend via wildlife-rich moorland to Mweka Camp for oxygen-boosted recovery treatments.
A gentle descent through rainforest concludes your trek at the base. Receive a digital summit certificate, carbon offset documentation, and celebrate with a champagne toast engraved with your summit time.

This was not our first time going to here. It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
